Today, Kassel is worldwidely known as one of the center for concert guitars, not least due to Tröster´s international concerts and publishing of cds.

He was born 1956, was a student of Gerhard Vogt and continued his studies at the Music Academies in Frankfurt, Würzburg an Basel, and was also a student of the famous German guitar player Siegfried Behrend. He is now giving lessons a the Music Academy Kassel.

The international concert career is a consequence of winning prizes of several national and international competitions like, e.g. German Music Competition or International Villa-Lobos Competition (Milan). Concerts in Germany, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, France, England, Denmark, Hungary, Spain, Yugoslavia, Turkey, Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Laos, Thailand, Brunei, Corea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Russia and America stabilized his international reputation in the last few years.

Composers around the world devote new opus to him for his instrument. In April 1995 he played with a phenomenal success, e.g. in Danzig the world premiere of „Primer Concerto para Guitara y Orquestra“, which was writen for him by the Mexican Composer Eduardo Angulo.

Regular tours through Europe, Corea, Japan and the USA as a soloist and chamber musician documents his international image.
